Venture into the depths of Kotumsar Cave, a natural marvel near Jagdalpur, Bastar, Chhattisgarh. This impressive cave, the second largest of its kind globally and the largest in India, extends 35 meters below ground and stretches over 1371 meters in length.

Kotumsar Cave boasts five distinct chambers adorned with ancient stalactite and stalagmite formations, some of the oldest on Earth. The cave is also home to a unique ecosystem, including blind wells, bats, termites, and even some extinct species.

Kotumsar Cave is situated approximately 40 km from Jagdalpur in the dense forests of Kanger Valley National Park, near the Kanger River. The main tunnel extends nearly 200 meters, featuring several lateral and downward passages.
